What is “Invitation to Lead”? Are you serving — or considering serving — as a Conference President or Vice President? “Invitation to Lead” is designed just for you and required for any Presidents and Vice Presidents who’ve never attended before. Together, we’ll explore the key responsibilities of these roles — from guiding productive meetings, inspiring members, to executing plans that strengthen your neighbors in need.

But this is more than just a “how-to” session — it’s an opportunity to grow as a servant leader in the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul. You’ll learn how to:

Foster a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere for all members
Identify and develop the gifts and talents of your fellow Vincentians
Promote and strengthen Vincentian spirituality within your Conference
Lead with both compassion and competence
Share leadership and decision-making while inspiring action

As a President or Vice President, your ability to serve, inspire, and guide others directly impacts the lives of neighbors in need. This training will give you practical tools, spiritual enrichment, and a network of fellow leaders to support your journey.

How to Attend
Invitation to Lead is offered twice annually at the SVdP Georgia Conference Support Center in Chamblee. Attend in-person or remotely via Zoom. Specify your preference when registering.
