Vision SVdP Final Recommendations

Vision SVdP is a strategic plan underway by and for all Vincentians and Conferences across the United States.

Beginning in 2024, the National Council organized listening groups and collected feedback from Vincentians nationwide about their thoughts, feelings, and ideas regarding the future of SVdP USA, including here in Georgia. National Council CEO Michael Acaldo spoke to Georgia Vincentians about this process at Spring to Life 2025.

The collected feedback has been summarized into five Core Areas:

1. Membership & Recruitment
2. Encounter & Service Delivery
3. Spirituality & Core Values
4. Communications & Outreach
5. Organizational Structure & Governance

Immediate Action

Now, each District in Georgia is asked to form a Working Group, review one Core Area summary, and determine which suggestions are most important for our future in Georgia. Each Working Group will identify 1- 3 critical recommendations for the Core Area assigned to them. See the chart below and contact your District President to participate or provide feedback.

Georgia then will elect two delegates to attend the National Vision SVdP Congress, to be held in August 2026. (One of the two delegates should hold no Office at the Council or Conference level, if possible.) The Congress is anticipated to be three days of intensive work and delegates will develop a final set of recommendations and actions. All expenses for the Congress will be paid by the National Council.
