St. Vincent de Paul Georgia (SVdP Georgia) has prepared an application for funding in response to the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) Competition. The PRICE funding is intended to preserve long-term affordability for residents of manufactured housing or a manufactured home community, to redevelop manufactured home communities, and to primarily benefit low- and moderate-income (LMI) residents.
SVdP Georgia’s application proposes two eligible activities to serve LMI residents in Greene, Hancock and Putnam Counties in Georgia: to create a new, quality multifamily rental manufactured housing community and to provide a loan for LMI residents to purchase a new manufactured home and site or to replace their aged, manufactured home.

SVdP Georgia seeks to gather comments from the public and interested parties on the draft application. In compliance with the NOFO requirements, they held a public hearing on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Christ our King and Savior Catholic Church, 6340 Lake Oconee Pkwy., Greensboro, Ga. 30642.

In addition, SVdP Georgia’s draft application was made available on this website for public comment from Wednesday, June 19, 2024 through Friday, July 5, 2024.

The period for comments to the application has now closed.

SVdP Georgia will ensure equal and meaningful access to information about the programs, including persons with disabilities and persons with limited English proficiency (LEP), pursuant to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, including accommodating those with limited English proficiency and visual impairment who wish to review the documents.
