St. Vincent de Paul prepares over 25,000 toys for foster children in Georgia

[Atlanta, GA] – As the holidays approach, St. Vincent de Paul Georgia, a leading non-profit organization, has big plans to send messages of hope and joy to neighbors in need!  We are proud to partner once again with Clark Howard, WSB-TV/Talk Radio, Georgia Department of Human Services, and Walmart on the Clark’s Christmas Kid’s program.

“St. Vincent de Paul Georgia is honored and grateful to be a part of this amazing charitable effort.  For the past 33 years, they have ensured that every child in foster care in the State of Georgia wakes up on Christmas morning with presents under the tree and joy in their hearts,” says Mike Mies, Executive Director, St. Vincent de Paul Georgia.

Our collaborative effort for this special annual holiday project will serve more than 7,000 children this year.  An effort of this size and scope requires volunteers to help shop, wrap, label and ship thousands of gifts across the state.

There are many ways you can help make Clark’s Christmas Kids a success. We are honored to host individuals, groups, and families of volunteers to assist in our warehouse and at Walmart shopping days.  We invite you to bring joy to children in the most need this year and learn how you can make a difference by visiting our website at: www.svdpgeorgia.org/clarks-kids

Your help with Clark’s Christmas Kids goes well beyond the days of volunteering, to letting children know that they matter and we care! You will be part of the community-wide effort at St. Vincent de Paul of providing essential services in the areas of Housing, Hunger and Health for our neighbors throughout Georgia and bringing joy to our youngest neighbors.
