St. Vincent de Paul Georgia Presents 2023 Morning of Hope

 

ATLANTA (April 24, 2023) – St. Vincent de Paul Georgia presents the highly-anticipated second annual Morning of Hope on May 16, 2023 at The Cobb Galleria Centre from 7:15-9:15 AM. The event will provide powerful proof of why Hope matters for individuals and families in poverty, amplify voices of Hope and highlight exceptional work being done to help those in need and build communities of Hope in Georgia.

A not-to-be-missed experience, Morning of Hope brings together community and corporate leaders, partners, stakeholders, advocates and individuals and provides powerful proof of why hope matters for individuals and families in poverty, amplifies voices of hope and highlights exceptional work being done to help those in need and build communities of hope in Georgia.

“Understanding the power of Hope, how investing in Hope delivers impact, and the collective good we do together through connection, compassion, and care is what Morning of Hope is all about,” said St. Vincent de Paul Georgia Executive Director, Mike Mies. This year Morning of Hope will also be a celebration of St. Vincent de Paul Georgia’s 120th Anniversary of serving the community.

Morning of Hope will recognize an individual for their outstanding leadership and commitment towards the betterment of our community. Edward J. “Jack” Hardin will receive the 2023 Hope Builder Award.

“Attendees and guests will have the privilege of hearing directly from an extraordinary group of leaders who have dramatically improved the lives of individuals in metro Atlanta and beyond,” said Mies. “We are thrilled to have Rodney Bullard, CEO of The Same House and former Executive Director of the Chick- fil-A Foundation as our Featured Speaker, Terry Trout, SVP of Marketing for the Liquid Web Family of Brands as our Challenge Speaker and WXIA 11Alive news anchor Cheryl Preheim to facilitate conversations with neighbors in need served by St. Vincent de Paul Georgia as well as with supporters of the organization.” Additionally, Archbishop Gregory Hartmayer will lead the invocation.

Proceeds from Morning of Hope will support St. Vincent de Paul Georgia’s critically-needed Hunger, Housing and Health programs, including the SVdP Georgia Community Pharmacy, Motel To Home Program, Client-Choice Food Pantries and financial assistance for housing and medical needs.
