Ran out of Options

I lost my job due to COVID-19 and my wife and I exhausted all of our savings and funds by the first week of April. I decided to reach out to SVdP because I had run out of options and they helped us with food and rent assistance.

74-year-old Solomon lost his dishwashing job when the restaurant he worked for closed due to the pandemic. He and his wife, Carmela, exhausted their savings and were out of funds by the first week of April. He had run out of food and was unable to pay his rent. He decided to call St. Vincent de Paul Georgia because he had run out of options and was desperate for help. The SVdP Conference at St. Jude was able to provide food and rent assistance for Solomon and his wife.
