Patrick McNulty Appointed New Chief Executive Officer of St. Vincent de Paul Georgia
St. Vincent de Paul Georgia (SVdP Georgia), a nonprofit agency dedicated to preventing homelessness, fighting hunger and changing lives, is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick McNulty as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective September 25, 2020.
Mr. McNulty comes to St. Vincent de Paul Georgia from Allied Universal where he was Senior Vice President, bringing proven experience leading sales/operations turnarounds, growing businesses and leaders, and creating market differentiation in national, labor-intensive services industries.
“Our search committee took a thoughtful and thorough approach to assure the successful recruitment of the right candidate for our organization,” said John Berry, current SVdP Georgia CEO. “Pat McNulty’s strength in leadership and communication comes at an important time in the life of our organization as we enter into the public phase of our $7.5 million Hope Transformed Capital Campaign.”
The SVdP Georgia Board of Directors is confident that McNulty is the right person to continue to lead the organization’s mission of helping neighbors on the edge of poverty and financial ruin maintain self-sufficency and find stability.
“I am deeply honored by this appointment. It is a great responsibility to lead St. Vincent de Paul Georgia,” said McNulty. “I look forward to working with our volunteers, supporters and staff contributing positively to the lives of the most marginalized and vulnerable members of our community.”
John Berry, current CEO, will be assuming a new position on September 25, 2020 after leading the organization for 14 years. Berry has accepted a new position as National Vice President of St. Vincent de Paul USA for the Southeast Region and has also been appointed by Archbishop Hartmayer as the Chair of the Archdiocese of Atlanta Finance Council.
