Georgia nonprofit receives $5 million from Bezos Day 1 Families Fund | ANF

A Georgia nonprofit has received a $5 million grant from Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos’ Bezos Day 1 Families Fund.
St. Vincent de Paul Georgia was one of 32 grant recipients in 2025. Its $5 million grant is one of the largest the Fund gave out this year.
Executive Director Mike Mies says this grant will help to continue their mission to feed, clothe, house and heal Georgians.
“Our motel to home program, our Marillac Moms program for pregnant homeless women, the bulk of what we do on the housing front is eviction prevention. We keep people from being evicted to avoid homelessness,” said Mies.
