SVdP Georgia Council-Led All-Day Vincentian Spiritual Retreat 2/25/2023

Where: Christ the King Cathedral, Atlanta, Georgia
When: Saturday, February 25, 2023, 9:30am check in. The retreat ends at 3:00 pm. Confessions are at 3:00-3:50 pm. Saturday Vigil Mass is at 4:00 pm. Lunch and the retreat will be provided at no cost by SVdP Georgia Council. Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Content: This is another regional retreat with the same content as the October 8, 2022, retreat formerly held at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church. The retreat will include a sample of the Serving in Hope series, time for meditation and reflection, small group discussions, role play demonstrations of spontaneous prayer, Vincentian Stations of The Cross, singing, opening and closing prayers, confessions, and attendance at the Saturday Vigil Mass (if so desired).
Schedule:
- 9:30am – Check in at Kenny Hall (located across from the church in the same building)
- 10:00am – Welcome and Opening Prayer
- 10:15am – Serving in Hope Module #2 – Spirituality
- 12:15pm – Lunch
- 1:00pm – Praying with Clients/Neighbors
- 2:15pm – Vincentian Stations of the Cross
- 2:55pm – Closing Prayer
- 3:00pm – Confessions
- 4:00pm – Saturday Vigil Mass
