Join us to learn more about the emergency housing voucher and how you can help a neighbor in need apply.
The Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) Program is available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The vouchers are designed to assist individuals and families who are:
- Homeless (staying in shelter or place not meant for human habitation)
- At risk of homelessness
- Fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking, or
- Recently homeless and for whom providing rental assistance will prevent the family’s homelessness or having high risk of housing instability, including clients in rapid rehousing and permanent supportive housing programs.
In this webinar, you will learn about the voucher and how to help a NIN apply. Note, this voucher is not for an immediate crisis or emergency, it is a housing voucher and the NIN will need to locate a landlord willing to accept it, if they are awarded a voucher.
