Cobb County Grant Application
St. Vincent de Paul Georgia (SVdP Georgia) has funding for Cobb County households that meet income eligibility (income that does not exceed 60% of AMI) and rental amount eligibility and have insufficient resources to retain their permanent, affordable housing. Individuals without minor children and households with minor children are eligible for this program. This program does not provide rental assistance for past-due amounts owed to the landlord.
This program requires you to provide personal documentation and coordinate with your landlord to obtain required program documentation from them. Your case worker will provide information to you about what is needed. Program participation is contingent upon timely providing requested documentation.
Applicants will participate in an initial consultation to assess needs and determine program eligibility. The consultation will include: an application for services, identification for each household member, proof of residence, written verification of all household income for the previous two months, lease, and other information as needed to determine eligibility.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Cobb County Households Only
- Property must past Cobb County Environmental review
- Property must past a property Inspection
- Rent only – no utilities
- Must have been recently employed or currently working
- Must be able to document hardship
