A Georgia organization announced on Monday that it has received a grant from Jeff and Lauren Bezos to support an effort to end homelessness for families in Atlanta.
St. Vincent de Paul Georgia received a grant of $5 million through the Bezos Day 1 Families Fund to help end homelessness for families in the city.
St. Vincent de Paul Georgia is one of 32 organizations around the United States to receive this annual grant, officials said.
