SVdP Georgia adopted GoToConnect in Fall 2025 as the phone carrier for the Statewide Assistance Line, offering Conferences new options for managing Intake. Learn more and bookmark this page as a resource.

Please review the PowerPoint to see how calls route, options available to Conferences, and new tools you can use.

Getting Started

To begin, each Vincentian who participates as an Intake Volunteer or Caseworker should decide if you prefer to receive & make calls via your computer or your mobile phone.

Computer Option
Receiving Calls
Your computer speakers will “ring” when a call comes in. Your computer’s built-in microphone will allow you to speak to that caller.

Making Calls
You will make calls from your computer by going to a GoTo webpage, using an on-screen “keypad” to dial out, and speaking to the Neighbor/Client through your computer’s built-in microphone and speaker.

Mobile Phone Option
Receiving Calls
Your mobile will “ring” with a unique sound when SVdP calls come in. You answer the call like any other call.

Making Calls
You will make calls by opening the GoTo app (once installed); tapping the black “key pad” and dialing out like any other call. The Neighbor/Client will see your caller ID as “SVdP …[Conference name and phone #]”

To proceed, schedule a tutorial or Conference presentation by contacting Tara La Bouff, Vincentian Services Manager.
